Our final Glaschu Spirits Co release for 2023 and our very first Islay, we really saved the big guns for last... 💣
Distilled on the southern Islay coast, between Lagavulin and the town of Port Ellen... at a distillery renowned for its peaty coastal character.
15 years old, which was apparently the sweet-spot for this distillery's core range, in days past. We stuck with the bourbon barrel this time, as we really didn't want to change anything here, perfection from the first sample.
This is also the second in the Havelock Series, the label shows a view over industrial-era Glasgow, from the spire of Dowanhill Church.
