Tormore 15: Oloroso Sherry Finish
Tormore Distillery stands proudly on the edge of the Cromdale Hills, its striking mid-century architecture marking one of Speyside’s most distinctive landmarks. Built in 1960, it produces a clean, sweet, and subtly herbal spirit, long appreciated by blenders for its balance and by private bottlers for its quietly complex character.
This 15 year old expression spent its final two years resting in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask, a finishing period that has layered Tormore’s naturally honeyed profile with richer, duskier depth. The result is a whisky that marries the distillery’s gentle elegance with the brooding warmth of seasoned European oak.
Expect dark honey and orange marmalade up front, followed by walnut, pipe smoke, and the unmistakable earthiness of a dunnage warehouse—damp forest floor, old timber, and cool stone. The finish is long, warming, and quietly luxurious. A deeply characterful Speyside malt, bottled with the polished, flavour-driven approach Glaschu Spirits Co is known for.

Tormore 15, in a rich Oloroso sherry finish. Slainte!
