Its famously oily, robust Highland spirit has a cult following among independent bottlers, and its heavily peated spirit is a rare find.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis 5 year old was distilled in March 2021 from Ben Nevis's heavily peated spirit, then finished in a Pedro Ximénez sherry quarter cask. The small cask has done a lot of work in a short time, wrapping the smoke in dark, sticky sherry sweetness.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eExpect cola bottles, pipe tobacco and charred wood up front, followed by cacao, dried cranberry and over-toasted marshmallows.
