Glaschu Spirits Co. - Glenglassaugh 13: PX Matured

Peated Craigmills you say? Never heard of it! It's also known as Auchinderrom, but more widely recognised by it's distillery of origin... Glenglassaugh!

A quaint little highland distillery, slap bang in the middle between Buckie and Banff, on Scotland's northern coast.

This particular Auchinderrom was distilled in 2010 and then immediately filled into a first fill Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead. 13 years later it was picked up by us, eager to get this delicious liquid into glass.

Unfortunately the cask arrived at our bottling plant a little lighter than expected. Instead of the 340ish bottles we had hoped for, we got a total of 104. We paid a pretty penny for this cask and although we managed to get a partial refund, we'll make a loss on the sale of each bottle.

Absolutely gutting... because this is without a doubt one of the tastiest drams I've ever tried 😔 Damgood, god dammit...
